Work of Cutter Suction Dredger
Most of the operations of dredging ships are on water, which is convenient and fast. Among them, cutter suction dredger is a commonly used dredging ship, which is widely used in the dredging of various large ports and rivers. The advantages of cutter suction dredger are: high efficiency and easy to be competent for all kinds of terrain.
The cutter head of the cutter suction dredger will rotate and stir the sludge at the bottom through the cutter to make it boiling, then pump the mud up through the mud pump and transport it to the designated place on the shore through the mud discharge pipe.
The cutter cage of cutter suction dredger is driven to rotate by hydraulic motor. Due to the reaction force on the twisted blade, the whole hull rotates around a positioning pile rod in the water.
Cutter suction dredger is composed of diesel engine, gear pump, gearbox, mud pump, cutter suction pipe and so on. Cutter suction dredger is especially suitable for dredging of various ports.
An important step in the work of a small dredger is that the cutter stirs the silt at the bottom of the river. How does the cutter rotate? Observing the structure of the dredger, we will find that there are generally two things driving the cutter to rotate, one is the hydraulic motor, the other is the mechanical transmission of the transmission shaft, and the hydraulic motor is connected to the hydraulic pump station and diesel engine through the hydraulic pipeline, The diesel engine burns diesel oil to provide energy, which is transmitted to the hydraulic motor, and then further drives the cutter to work. The transmission shaft drives the cutter to rotate. The rotation of the motor drives the transmission shaft to rotate. The motor is connected to the generator set or diesel engine through the connecting device.
