1. When the volume of desilting machinery such as dredgers and tank is small, the amount of lubricating oil required is less, and the oil temperature is relatively high when running, so the thermal stability and oxidation resistance of lubricating oil are higher.
2. Due to the poor river environment, coal dust and rock dust, lubricating oil is inevitably polluted by these impurities, so the dredger lubricating oil is required to have better rust and corrosion resistance; When lubricating oil is required to be polluted, its performance will not change too much, that is, it is not very sensitive to pollution.
3. The temperature of open dredger varies greatly in winter and summer, and the temperature difference between day and night is large in some areas.
Therefore, the viscosity of lubricating oil is required to change little with temperature.
It is to be avoided that at high temperatures the viscosity of the oil becomes too low to form a lubricating film and to achieve lubrication, and at low temperatures the viscosity becomes too high, which leads to start-up and operation difficulties.
4. For some dredging machinery and equipment, especially some mining machinery which is prone to fire and accidents, it is required to use lubricants with good fire resistance rather than combustible white oil.
5. Lubricant is required to have good adaptability to the seal to avoid damage to the seal of the dredger.
