Impact of bad environment on cutter suction dredger and measures
In the construction environment of strong wind and waves, the cutter suction dredger is prone to continuous up and down fluctuations. When the auger is in hard soil conditions, the hydraulic pressure of the auger is extremely unstable, and even the auger will be blocked. The auger head is hit and the force is unbalanced, which not only damages the auger teeth and blade back, but also may cause the fixing bolts of the floating seal ring assembly of the auger bearing box to crack and the floating seal ring O-ring to be squeezed off.Construction team response measures:
1. Stop construction when necessary.
2. Install a hydraulic compensator for anti-wave on the bridge.
3. Control the depth of dredging.
4. Procedure for installing an anti-blocking hydraulic system.
Because dredgers need to face different environments, such as some soils are softer and some soils are harder, etc., the bad soil will also have a great impact on the mud pump. Different soils cause different wear on the mud pump. The wear of the mud pump is proportional to the specific gravity of the mud and sand particles and is related to the hardness of the soil. The inner wall flow channel of the mud pump shell is impacted and washed by the sand and stone flow thrown by the impeller.
There are two types of wear, one is abrasive erosion wear, and the other is stress wear caused by impact. These harsh soil conditions seriously affect the service life of the mud pump.
The construction team's response:
1. Burn wear-resistant welding on the mud pump and make grid welding to increase the service life;
2. Use high-chromium cast iron mud pump.
The construction environment faced by the construction team of each dredger is very different. Some harsh environments will reduce the service life of the dredger's hull and auger. Therefore, understand the construction environment clearly before construction. Make corresponding countermeasures to ensure the normal use of the dredger.
