(1) Abnormal starting and braking of the motor of a cutter suction dredger
1) The motor starts for too long
① Cause of the fault: The contactor in the dredger circuit is in poor contact, and the pressure array increases due to excessive contact resistance.
② Treatment method: Repair the switch contact in the circuit.
2) The motor of the cutter suction dredger stops slowly
① Cause of the fault: The brake contactor of the dredger has poor contact or the wire head is loose, so it cannot brake; or the brake resistor is too large, the brake current is small, and the brake is too weak.
② Treatment method: Check and repair the contactor of the dredger contactor, adjust the brake resistor, and increase the brake current (but not more than twice the rated current of the motor).
(2) The motor of the cutter suction dredger is unstable
1) The motor creeps after starting the feed
① Cause of the fault: The output of the tachometer generator of the dredger produces large ripples due to rotor short circuit, grounding, and the voltage-stabilized power supply does not meet the requirements; or due to the poor quality of the thyristor, resulting in a large leakage current.
② Treatment method: Use an oscilloscope to measure the output voltage waveform of the tachometer generator, and make necessary corrections according to the actual situation; check the quality of the thyristor, and replace it with a new device if it does not meet the requirements.
