Cause of Dredger Residue
In the construction of cutter suction dredger, if the excavation amount is greater than the suction amount, the mud layer is easy to collapse, resulting in residual layer.
If there is back to the larger construction area, it is easier to produce before digging after the phenomenon of silt. Then what are the reasons for the residual layer:
1. Not all of the dirt is being sucked in. This is because the dredger in the work of the reamer head is greater than the amount of suction, which is related to the flow field generated by the rotation of the reamer.
2. After the mud surface is broken, caused by water flow or soil landslide. When the dredger is working, sometimes there will be water flow or soil landslide and mud surface breakage. Therefore, the excavation depth needs to be increased, depending on the length of the construction period and the size of the silt back.
